FXR firefighter turnouts are the only gear in the industry utilizing Active Posture Design™ (APD) to achieve the perfect fit and maximum flexibility! Engineered together with the world’s best rock climbing and extreme sports clothing designers, APD is a collection of elements that minimize firefighter stress and fatigue.

These turnouts boast a slim, comfortable fit that is achieved through the collaboration with our creative customers!

FEATURES

• Seamless Collar
  Full thermal and moisture barrier protection without the confining throat strap.
• DexFlex Elbows
  Added pleats curve the sleeve to your arms natural bent position without restricting movement.
• Comfort Inseam
  Reduces bulk and wear & tear with an innovative seamless gusset.
• Dexcuff
  Minimize fabric wear and tear by reducing materials that drag or rub against the ground.
• Active Posture Design
  Allows you to move with purpose through the fireground with a full range of motion – even while wearing your SCBA!
• DexFlex Knees
  Crawl, climb and kneel freely with comfortable, pre-bent legs that increase natural movement.
• Omnidex™ Shoulder
  Eliminates coat rise and sleeve retraction by moving the shoulder seam to its natural bending point.
• Arms Forward Design
  Provides a natural bend and relaxed feel in your arms without added bulk.
• Deep Water Wells
  No one likes water up their sleeves, especially during a fight again the fire. Our deep sleeve water wells provide a natural glove/sleeve interface, keeping water out.
• Added Protection
  Additional thermal protection is sewn to all high compression areas, such as knees, elbows, and shoulders for your protection.
• Double Lock Stitching
  Manufacturers aren’t required to use lock stitch, but we do everything we can to improve your safety. We include lock stitch on all major seams, cuffs, and reinforcements, with 4 rows of lock stitch on all reflective trim and hook & loop closure material.
• Liner Tabs
  Retention snap tabs come standard on all Fire-Dex coats to prevent bunching of layers. Each is carefully placed for prevent abrasion.
• Testing & Inspection
  Inspections and testing are done throughout each stage of production to ensure quality and safety measures are met. In fact, we have an entire lab within our production facility where we continually work to improve your safety.

FITTING

Regular Fit Coat
Made for average body types, the regular jacket design features a straight and relaxing fit that maximizes comfort.

Flare Fit Coat
Made for body types with wider hips, our flare fit jacket offers more room around the mid-section, providing additional comfort and breathability. The flare extends as needed to fit any body type.

Slim Fit Coat
Our slim fit jacket features an athletic design with a narrower waist, accommodating those with broad shoulders without adding excess bulk. Available only on FXR.

Regular Fit Pant
Made for average body types, our regular pant design features a straight and classic fit, accommodating hips up to 10” larger than waist size.

Relaxed Fit Pant
For body types with wider hips, our relaxed pants allow for more room around the mid-section, providing additional comfort and breathability, for ease of donning and doffing over the hips.

Egress Harness Options
We have everything you need to feel safe while repelling from great heights. There are many options to accommodate your department’s bailout equipment preferences from Internal Pant Harnesses to External Harness Strap.
