Jordair FIRE-KAT™ Ultra Silent Compressor System
The Jordair FIRE-KAT™ Ultra Silent Compressor System is a high-efficiency, low-noise air compressor designed for fire departments and emergency services, offering reliable, quiet operation for filling air cylinders in critical situations.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The FIRE-KAT Ultra-silent compressor system features a single Bauer compressor block installed within an insulated and enclosed frame with auxiliary fan for sound reduction and cooling. The compressor system provides a service friendly and technically advanced design with active customer interface.
All FIRE-KAT compressors are supplied with the Siemens Logo 8 PLC with a 6” panel mounted HMI screen. Adjacent to the PLC screen is the panel mounted CSA required CO monitor, Securus Moisture Monitor and ESD button. A high air temperature RTD with shut down & alarm as well as inter-stage and final pressure relief valves protect the compressor and its components. Oil pressure is monitored by a transmitter with an alarm and display.
Final pressure is limited by the final pressure transmitter setting. Jordair compressors are designed to automatically drain every 15 minutes into a silent collection system. All FIRE-KAT units Include nationally certified 7300 PSIG filter systems for added safety and an extended component life of 35 operating years.

When placing an order, add the voltage at the end of the model number (eg. FIRE-KAT5-100-1EUS-230V)
Standard production is 60Hz, consult the factory for 50 Hz requirements and other voltages

- Inter-stage and oil pressure gauges are mounted on the block and visible at the back side of the compressor
- Nationally certified CRN registered 7300 PSIG filter system matched to the compressor capacity
- Final separator cycle counter to ensure filter system safety and record pressure cycles
- Cycle count is displayed on the panel mounted HMI display screen
- Filter system life rated for 35 years or 100,000 pressure cycles
- Automatic condensate drain and silent collection system

Compressor Flow Rate, or “Charge Rate”, is based on filling a 88 cubic (ft3) SCBA cylinder from the alarm set point of 1550 PSIG to 4500 PSIG
