Fire Research Corporation (FRC) was founded in 1968 by Jack McLoughlin. As an active volunteer firefighter, Jack recognized there was need to improve and modernize the equipment used in the fire service industry. Putting his experience as a design engineer to work, he began to look for elegant and ingenious solutions to the unique problems faced by fire service and rescue professionals.
